What stays on your device
Everything you enter in the calculators and the tracker (property addresses, tenancy dates, rents, comparables, pet and repair notes, letter details) is processed in your browser and saved in its local storage. It is never sent to our servers. Clearing your browser data deletes it, so use the tracker’s backup download if you want a copy. Calendar (.ics), backup (.json) and letter files are created on your device.
Postcode lookups
On the landlord database page, if you type a postcode and press “Find my region”, that postcode is sent to postcodes.io, a free open-data service, to look up the region. Nothing else is sent, and we do not see or store it. If you prefer, choose your council from the list instead.
What we store
- Beta list. If you join it, we store your email address, the option you picked and the page you joined from, to email you about this tool. Nothing else, and we never sell or share it.
- Anonymous usage counts. When you use a feature we record the event name, coarse details (for example the number of grounds ticked or a region name), the page and your country (from the network). No cookies, no identifiers, no IP addresses, nothing you typed.
Where it is stored
On Cloudflare (Pages and D1), which hosts this site. Fonts are served from this site, not from Google.
Your rights
To see or delete your beta-list entry, use the unsubscribe link in any email or reply to it, and we will delete it within 30 days.
